Animal control services we offer in Leesburg, VA include:

Bat Removal

There are 16 species of bats in Virginia. Four (Gray Bat, Indiana Bat, Virginia-Big-eared Bat, and Rafinesque’s Big-eared Bat) are protected as endangered species, but 12 are not. None of the three types of bats most likely to take residence in a building (Big Brown Bat, Evening Bat, and Little Brown Bat) are protected species. Let us remove your unwanted bats, regardless of species.

Raccoon Removal

Raccoons are one of the most common nuisance animals in Northern Virginia and won’t hesitate to take up residence in attics, chimneys, crawl spaces, barns, etc. A thumping or stomping noise in your attic is a common sign of a raccoon infestation. It is essential to remove them and relocate them far away, because they often rip open ducts, chew on electrical wiring, contaminate, tear and even destroy insulation.

Squirrel Removal

Squirrels are not shy about taking up residence in your attic, especially during the winter, and can cause a great deal of damage while there. Their nesting sites turn into toxic messes because cleaning up squirrel feces presents a health hazard. Flying squirrels require different trapping techniques and are harder to get rid of, but SES can remove all types of squirrels from your home.

Snake Removal

When you see a snake regularly on your property, you’ll want to have it removed because it probably has built a den in your crawl space on in a nearby area where it can access your home for warmth. If you’ve got a snake inside your house, don't try to catch it because of the danger of a snake bite. Instead, call SES. Our specialists are trained to humanely catch and remove troublesome snakes from homes and properties.

Skunk Removal

Skunks carry rabies and emit a foul-smelling spray. You don't want them in your home and you should not try to trap them yourself. Instead, SES' wildlife control specialists are trained to humanely catch and remove troublesome skunks from homes and attics.

Our animal removal crews are available on a 24/7/365 basis! All the repair work done by our trained repair technicians is guaranteed for 12 months. If you call SES to have a technician reinspect the work before the end of 12 months, we will guarantee it for an additional year!

We had birds nesting in our bathroom vent. One came into the bathroom and the other got caught in the fan and died.We removed the fan and the birds and had Summit Environmental Solutions come out to clean out the vent. Ernie came out and was very friendly explaining what needed to be done. He ended up replacing the vent, putting a cover on the outside of the house, and even replaced the fan and cover that we removed in the bathroom. His work was great and I was surprised by how quickly he was done. We would definitely use them again if needed. I would highly recommend Ernie!

Reinstall the existing soffit back in place as best as possible. Install cream colored sheet metal over indicated soffit corner to prevent entry of squirrels into the attic space. Install same colored sheet metal on one eave on backside of home indicated by the technician. Remove section of soiled insulation in the attic on the rear right corner. Use Sterifab to disinfect that area and the rest of the attic space. Install additional fiberglass insulation where insulation was removed.

Seal out using caulk and copper mesh, seal up gap behind trim board front of home outside Nicole’s bedroom. Seal and repair gap on right side of home near side entry. Clean Out And Screen Vent. A bath vent on the side of the home has a large wasp nest in it, blocking the proper airflow. This allows cold air to enter through this vent, and conditioned air to escape, wasting energy. We will remove this nest, clean and sanitize the vent line, and install a bird guard to prevent future nesting of birds in this vent. If the vent is for a bathroom we can also screen the outlet to prevent bees or wasps nesting as well. If this is a laundry vent we cannot screen it, as lint will build up and create a fire hazard. If this is a kitchen vent, it cannot be screened either, due to a fire hazard from grease build up. The bird protection can be in place regardless of the vent’s function. Clean Up Insulation And Attic. Remove affected insulation and sanitize areas used as latrines by squirrels. Remove nesting materials and debris. Add more insulation in these areas.

Replace rig board one upper rear left section of home to include wrapping with white metal and ceiling to brick to prevent squirrels from re-entering. Install RVG on attic fan or a roof where squirrels are pushing it into your mesh to enter attic. One-way exit to be installed at time of replacement of rake board to prevent trapping squirrels inside and then return a week later to remove and seal.
