There are 16 species of bats in Virginia. Four (Gray Bat, Indiana Bat, Virginia-Big-eared Bat, and Rafinesque’s Big-eared Bat) are protected as endangered species, but 12 are not. None of the three types of bats most likely to take residence in a building (Big Brown Bat, Evening Bat, and Little Brown Bat) are protected species. Let us remove your unwanted bats, regardless of species.
Raccoons are one of the most common nuisance animals in Northern Virginia and won’t hesitate to take up residence in attics, chimneys, crawl spaces, barns, etc. A thumping or stomping noise in your attic is a common sign of a raccoon infestation. It is essential to remove them and relocate them far away, because they often rip open ducts, chew on electrical wiring, contaminate, tear and even destroy insulation.
Squirrels are not shy about taking up residence in your attic, especially during the winter, and can cause a great deal of damage while there. Their nesting sites turn into toxic messes because cleaning up squirrel feces presents a health hazard. Flying squirrels require different trapping techniques and are harder to get rid of, but SES can remove all types of squirrels from your home.
When you see a snake regularly on your property, you’ll want to have it removed because it probably has built a den in your crawl space on in a nearby area where it can access your home for warmth. If you’ve got a snake inside your house, don't try to catch it because of the danger of a snake bite. Instead, call SES. Our specialists are trained to humanely catch and remove troublesome snakes from homes and properties.
Skunks carry rabies and emit a foul-smelling spray. You don't want them in your home and you should not try to trap them yourself. Instead, SES' wildlife control specialists are trained to humanely catch and remove troublesome skunks from homes and attics.
Our animal removal crews are available on a 24/7/365 basis! All the repair work done by our trained repair technicians is guaranteed for 12 months. If you call SES to have a technician reinspect the work before the end of 12 months, we will guarantee it for an additional year!
