Animal control services we offer in Centreville, VA include:
Bat Removal
There are 16 species of bats in Virginia. Four (Gray Bat, Indiana Bat, Virginia-Big-eared Bat, and Rafinesque’s Big-eared Bat) are protected as endangered species, but 12 are not. None of the three types of bats most likely to take residence in a building (Big Brown Bat, Evening Bat, and Little Brown Bat) are protected species. Let us remove your unwanted bats, regardless of species.
Raccoon Removal
Raccoons are one of the most common nuisance animals in Northern Virginia and won’t hesitate to take up residence in attics, chimneys, crawl spaces, barns, etc. A thumping or stomping noise in your attic is a common sign of a raccoon infestation. It is essential to remove them and relocate them far away, because they often rip open ducts, chew on electrical wiring, contaminate, tear and even destroy insulation.
Squirrel Removal
Squirrels are not shy about taking up residence in your attic, especially during the winter, and can cause a great deal of damage while there. Their nesting sites turn into toxic messes because cleaning up squirrel feces presents a health hazard. Flying squirrels require different trapping techniques and are harder to get rid of, but SES can remove all types of squirrels from your home.
Snake Removal
When you see a snake regularly on your property, you’ll want to have it removed because it probably has built a den in your crawl space on in a nearby area where it can access your home for warmth. If you’ve got a snake inside your house, don't try to catch it because of the danger of a snake bite. Instead, call SES. Our specialists are trained to humanely catch and remove troublesome snakes from homes and properties.
Skunk Removal
Skunks carry rabies and emit a foul-smelling spray. You don't want them in your home and you should not try to trap them yourself. Instead, SES' wildlife control specialists are trained to humanely catch and remove troublesome skunks from homes and attics.
Our animal removal crews are available on a 24/7/365 basis! All the repair work done by our trained repair technicians is guaranteed for 12 months. If you call SES to have a technician reinspect the work before the end of 12 months, we will guarantee it for an additional year!

Summit Environmental handled a problem we had with racoons in the attic a couple years ago. They did a full scope solution; trapping the racoons, replacing the attic insulation, repairing the ceiling, and putting guards in place to prevent further incursion. The project manager/senior inspector Chris Hornberger is expert in environmental regulations. He dealt directly with our homeowner insurance, explaining that the racoon contamination of insulation in the attic and was an environmental hazard and so the insulation had to be replaced. The insurance company agreed. Currently we have a new problem with woodpeckers nesting in the polyurethane decorations over the windows, resulting in a complaint from our HOA. Chris examined the damage and explained that woodpeckers are a protected species here in Virginia, and that according to regulations, nothing can be done in this case. Chris gave me his business card, and told me to have the HOA contact him for guidance on this. This is what I will do. So based on past work they have done and their straightforward advice in this most recent problem, I give Summit environmental 5 stars.

He assessed our deck and yard, provided very detailed explanation of our options and helped answer all of our questions regarding the best solution for our family moving forward. Overall we'd highly recommend reaching out to Summit Wildlife Removal for any wildlife issues. They were straightforward and we are looking forward to a skunk free yard.

I called Summit Environmental Services two days ago as there were mice in our basement, in the summer, no less. Brian Inge came to our home the next day. He was early! He explained everything he did and explained how the mouse poison would work. He wore a mask too. He called when he was on the way too. He will be following up in a couple of weeks. Thanks, Brian.

I contacted Summit due to multiple issues around my house to include a fox den, squirrels in my screened porch, and mice. Technician Ernie came out and walked me through all of the options to address my concerns. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and respectful. He was able to set traps within the week and caught the first squirrel very quickly. I could not be happier with the service I have received. I highly recommend Ernie and Summit for all pest control needs.
