Animal control services we offer in Fredericksburg, VA include:

Bat Removal

There are 16 species of bats in Virginia. Four (Gray Bat, Indiana Bat, Virginia-Big-eared Bat, and Rafinesque’s Big-eared Bat) are protected as endangered species, but 12 are not. None of the three types of bats most likely to take residence in a building (Big Brown Bat, Evening Bat, and Little Brown Bat) are protected species. Let us remove your unwanted bats, regardless of species.

Raccoon Removal

Raccoons are one of the most common nuisance animals in Northern Virginia and won’t hesitate to take up residence in attics, chimneys, crawl spaces, barns, etc. A thumping or stomping noise in your attic is a common sign of a raccoon infestation. It is essential to remove them and relocate them far away, because they often rip open ducts, chew on electrical wiring, contaminate, tear and even destroy insulation.

Squirrel Removal

Squirrels are not shy about taking up residence in your attic, especially during the winter, and can cause a great deal of damage while there. Their nesting sites turn into toxic messes because cleaning up squirrel feces presents a health hazard. Flying squirrels require different trapping techniques and are harder to get rid of, but SES can remove all types of squirrels from your home.

Snake Removal

When you see a snake regularly on your property, you’ll want to have it removed because it probably has built a den in your crawl space on in a nearby area where it can access your home for warmth. If you’ve got a snake inside your house, don't try to catch it because of the danger of a snake bite. Instead, call SES. Our specialists are trained to humanely catch and remove troublesome snakes from homes and properties.

Skunk Removal

Skunks carry rabies and emit a foul-smelling spray. You don't want them in your home and you should not try to trap them yourself. Instead, SES' wildlife control specialists are trained to humanely catch and remove troublesome skunks from homes and attics.

Our animal removal crews are available on a 24/7/365 basis! All the repair work done by our trained repair technicians is guaranteed for 12 months. If you call SES to have a technician reinspect the work before the end of 12 months, we will guarantee it for an additional year!

Tim Jordan delivered as promised. He and the other team members were professional, on time and cleaned up behind themselves. They solved a long time squirrel problem in the attic. Their pricing was reasonable and I would definitely recommend them.

An amazing team of caring individuals that go far and beyond anything that should be expected. They helped my neighbor that had fallen off his ladder get into his house. His wife took him to the hospital while I stayed with his mother until her daughter got there. This left the team alone in home to completed their job. This team is an example of the high standard that each of us to strive for in ourselves for honesty, integrity, compassion and professionalism ; and one that is rarely seen. Thank-you Summit for creating an amazing team of individuals that provided far more than a high quality work for the job; they demonstrated a high quality of personal character in their caring actions towards others; restoring my faith in humanity. Thank you for the opportunity to witness this. This added a far greater value to the completed work that was done as the service provide was of much greater worth to us.

We had way too many groundhogs in our small backyard! We (meaning hubby) thought we could get rid of them ourselves. But then how and when to do it?...Way too many problems arose. I suddenly thought of Home Advisor. During my first visit to the website I found Summit. They are wonderful. They responded quickly. We had a plan started in a couple of days. We worked mostly with Jeremy. He is great! They came out every work day for two weeks to check on progress and either speak with us or leave a door hanger. We always knew what was going on. They were very helpful and answered all of our questions both in person and by phone/text. I would highly recommend Summit. Thanks, Guys!

During time of inspection technician noticed possible entry point for mice. Seal under corner channels, conduit lines, two bay windows, and concrete stairs on the the rear of the home. There is no one hundred percent seal out for mice due their small nature. The only way to control the mice population is with a good rodent control program. Remove existing batted insulation from basement rim joist. Install two inches of closed cell spray foam insulation at rim joist. On bay windows, on each side of home, install Borafoam insulation, spray closed cell spray foam to seal and install new batted fiberglass insulation to mitigate air gap. Block off the joist bays that extend from bay windows into first floor frame with Borafoam insulation to prevent airflow. Patch vapor barrier and insulation under windows at either end of the basement where the existing insulation was damaged by installing new R11 fiberglass insulation and vapor barrier and sealing seams with tape. Fasten existing vapor barrier to wall with Hilti pins and seam tape on section of wall near stair area as indicated by the technician.
